How to publish a ChatGPT app or canvas

To publish a ChatGPT app or canvas today, use the VibeLaunch custom connector in ChatGPT Developer Mode if your account has it. If not, ask ChatGPT for the app’s HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, paste it into VibeLaunch, and publish.

ChatGPT can write the app; VibeLaunch puts it online. The connector path is best when Developer Mode is available. The paste flow is still the reliable fallback for every account.

Step by step

  1. Try the custom connector path first

    In ChatGPT, enable Developer Mode if your account offers it, create a connector, and paste https://mcp.vibelaunch.live/mcp as the server URL. Name it VibeLaunch.

  2. Ask ChatGPT to publish

    In the chat where you built the app, ask ChatGPT to publish it on VibeLaunch. If ChatGPT can use the connector, it should package the browser-ready files and return a live link.

  3. Use paste if the connector is unavailable

    If your account does not show Developer Mode or custom connectors, ask ChatGPT for the complete HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, then paste those files into VibeLaunch.

  4. Publish and share

    Whether you used the connector or paste flow, VibeLaunch gives you a live vibelaunch.live address you can share with anyone.

Common problems

Sometimes. ChatGPT Developer Mode supports custom MCP connectors for eligible accounts. Add VibeLaunch with https://mcp.vibelaunch.live/mcp, then ask ChatGPT to publish. If you do not see that setting, use the paste flow.
Paste every file, and make sure one of them is named index.html — that’s the page people open first.
A live web page can’t save form entries on its own — that needs a backend. Link out to a form tool, or ask ChatGPT for a version that uses one.
